Net Driven was named Business of the Year by The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce at the fourth annual S.A.G.E. Awards on Tuesday, November 11th.
The S.A.G.E. (Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence) Awards recognize Northeastern Pennsylvania businesses for their outstanding efforts, talents, creativity, and innovation in thirteen different categories. Each year, over a hundred applications are submitted, and the winners are announced at the annual Chamber Gala, a Hollywood style, black-tie optional affair, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and MetroAction.
This year, 110 applications were submitted, from which three finalists were chosen for each category. Finalists and winners were chosen by an independent panel of community leaders and business professionals.
The award for Business of the Year, the most anticipated award of the evening, recognizes a business for their outstanding accomplishments and operational successes. In 2014, Net Driven experienced substantial growth, opening their newly remodeled headquarters in a ceremony that involved prominent members of the community and included a car show. They were the recipient of the Entrepreneurship Award at the second annual Governor’s ImPAct Awards for embodying the American dream by taking risks, working hard and achieving success. They developed the first ever Dealer Council, and held the inaugural council meeting at their new headquarters.
The company has doubled in size year over year, and continues to gain recognition since its 2007 founding.
Net Driven CEO and founder, Pat Sandone, reflects on the award, saying "Net Driven is honored to be named Business of the Year, and we are very proud of what we have accomplished as a business. Our drive to succeed and to help independent businesses thrive, coupled with the resources and support of the Chamber and the local business community have allowed us to grow into the successful company that we are today.”
