The holidays are fast approaching and that means you need to make your holiday marketing plans now. Planning ahead will help you widen your visibility and reach. Follow these tips to make the holidays a success.

Create a Content Calendar

Want to increase holiday sales? Make sure you know the key dates. Automotive service, tires, and gift cards are popular holiday gifts. Make a note of all the shopping holidays following Thanksgiving: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. You can also play off of non-traditional holidays as well.

To really stand out, be the first in your industry to start posting.

Emphasize Strong Visual Elements in Your Content

Keep in mind that Facebook is a visual platform. Use videos, GIFs, and images to grab attention. Also think about making your profile a little festive. You don’t have to go overboard and completely redesign your social profiles, but a little festive cheer is certainly encouraged.

Winter Safety Tip

Winter means slippery roads and hazardous conditions. Share winter safety tips to help make your customers holiday travels a little safer. Give them tips on how to buy snow tires and what to do if they start sliding on the road.

Create Facebook Offers

Direct customers to your Facebook page to give them an exclusive offer when they “like” your page. It can be anything from a percentage off their bill to a ‘buy one get one’ offer, or even a free service with a purchase.
