Experience:
1-3+ years of SEO experience with practical working knowledge of ethical onsite and offsite SEO practices including title tag and meta info creation. They should have working knowledge of a CMS environment and also within HTML webpage source code. Well versed in keyword research and the use of SERP tracking platforms. They should also possess the analytic knowledge to understand patterns in timeline SERP analysis and has used analytic software, such as Google Analytics, to mine opportunities for websites. They should have understanding of local SEO practices and the use of local directories in organic rankings.
1-3+ years of link building experience. They should have proven timeline metrics to showcase increase in organic rankings of clients’ website due to link building efforts. Must have understanding of Penguin and Panda influences on organic results and be able to have knowledge to combat these Google updates. This person should also understand the importance of local reviews and local optimization.
Other Preferred Traits:
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business related field. They should have basic HTML knowledge. They must be detail oriented and consistent in work effort. They should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. They must be results driven and report based with regards to tracking efforts. They should be analytical and creative in thinking. They must have inner drive to strive to be the best in their discipline and willing to try new techniques to benefit our clients. This person should have decent writing skills for basic content creation. They should have worked as a freelancer or part of a SEO/ online marketing division before.
